Unposed is a podcast about getting back to yourself.
I’m Amber Lane. I’m a boudoir photographer, an unofficial confidence coach, and I’ve spent the last 15+ years listening to women talk about their bodies in ways they would never talk about anyone else's. I’ve watched them apologize when they don’t need to. I’ve watched them shrink. And I’ve watched what happens when they start to see themselves differently.
Between the clients that take the leap and come in for a photo session with me, the team of women I've worked with as stylists and assistants through the years, and the 3k+ member online community, Amber's Gems, I've been privileged to have many eye-opening and poignant conversations. I can't count the times I've thought "I wish more people could hear these stories and revelations."
This podcast grew out of that work.
Unposed is where we talk about body image, confidence, femininity, sensuality, and identity. Not in a polished or performative way, but in a real one. The kind of conversations that usually happen quietly. The thoughts we have but don’t always say out loud.
Some episodes are just me, reflecting and sharing what I’ve learned. Some are conversations with others. All of them are rooted in lived experience, not quick fixes or empty motivation.
This is a space for anyone who is tired of feeling like they have to earn comfort in their own bodies. For anyone who wants to feel more at home in themselves. For anyone who is ready to stop posing and start being.
You don’t need to arrive confident. You just need to arrive.
